Choose your starting point

By bus: 

  1. As you exit the Cruise Terminal, make your way along the boulevard to the Renassaince Mall 
  2. As you approach the Mall, you will see a Starbucks on your right hand and a roundabout at the far end of the Mall
  3. Walk towards the roundabout 
  4. When you reach the roundabout, you will see the bus station on the other side of the road 
  5. Cross the road and enter a bus with bus line "Schottegat" or "1B" and ask the driver to drop you off at the nearest bus stop to Landhuis Chobolobo 
  6. The mansion is just a short walk from the bus stop. You can also view the routes of the busses on the ABC bus company website

By taxi: 

As soon as you exit the terminal, you will see several taxi's and operators available. Ask to be taken to Landhuis Chobolobo. The fee should be around $20 and driving time around 10-15 minutes

  1. Get to the Caracasbaaiweg and drive in the direction of Willemstad. This is quite a long road
  2. At the roundabout, take the 3rd exit onto Nieuwe Caracasbaaiweg. Follow the road
  3. Turn right at the first traffic light (onto Mecaniciensweg)
  4. Turn right at the T-crossing (onto Elias R. A. Moreno Boulevard). On your right, you will see the KIA garage
  5. Next to it, you will see a yellow wall and the Landhuis Chobolobo sign. Turn right

Driving time: approx. 15 minutes

  1. Drive west along the ocean for approx. 2 km (Dr. Martin Luther King Weg) until you see a sports field on your left
  2. Then turn right onto Rotterdamweg
  3. Follow the road all the way to the first traffic light and go straight
  4. Turn right at the T-crossing (onto Elias R. A. Moreno Boulevard). On your right, you will see the KIA garage
  5. Next to it, you will see a yellow wall and the Landhuis Chobolobo sign. Turn right

Driving time: approx. 10 minutes

 

  1. Drive up to the big roundabout at the top of the hill and turn right (1st exit on to Helmin Magno Wiels Boulevard)
  2. Continue straight through the traffic lights and the 1st roundabout
  3. At the 2nd roundabout, take the 3rd exit (left) onto Arubastraat. This road goes up to the big Juliana bridge
  4. Continue straight through all traffic lights on Arubastraat. Stay in the left lane and follow the road through the hard right bend onto Juliana Bridge
  5. You are now on the bypass. Follow the road over the bridge and down
  6. Continue straight till you see KFC and McDonald’s on your right
  7. Pass McDonald's and follow the road through the bend. After the bend take the exit on your right and turn left immediately and go straight into the Landhuis Chobolobo yard (first road-opening)

Driving time: approx. 15 minutes

  1. Start driving east along the coastline (Kaya Wilson Godett). After Scuba Lodge and St Tropez, the road bends to the left
  2. Continue straight at the first traffic light and follow the road up the hill
  3. At the first traffic light, continue straight onto Kaminda Saliña. Follow the bend down the hill
  4. At the roundabout, do not go straight, but take the 1st exit to the left of the car dealership (onto Elias R. A. Moreno Boulevard)
  5. After about 450 meters, you will see a yellow wall and the Landhuis Chobolobo sign. Turn right

Driving time: approx.10 minutes

By bus: the bus stop in Punda is located next to the famous "Marshe" building on the "Plasa Bieu" square. To get to Landhuis Chobolobo, you can get on the "Schottegat" or "1B" Bus Line and ask the bus driver to drop you off at the bus stop nearest to Landhuis Chobolobo. The mansion is just a short walk from the bus stop. You can also view the routes of the busses on the ABC bus company website.

  1. Find the roundabout right in front of the Renaissance Hotel and the bus station
  2. At the roundabout, take the exit that goes up to the big Juliana Bridge (onto Arubastraat)
  3. Continue straight through all traffic lights on Arubastraat. Stay in the left lane and follow the road through the hard-right bend onto Julianabrug
  4. You are now on the bypass. Follow the road over the bridge and down
  5. Continue straight till you see KFC and McDonalds on your right
  6. Pass McDonald's and follow the road through the bend. After the bend take the exit on your right and turn left immediately and go straight into the Landhuis Chobolobo yard (first road-opening)

Driving time: approx. 10 minutes

 

  1. Follow the Willemstad road sign until you come to the big bridge overseeing Willemstad (Julianabrug)
  2. Continue straight till you see KFC and McDonalds on your right
  3. Pass McDonald's and follow the road through the bend. After the bend take the exit on your right and turn left immediately and go straight into the Landhuis Chobolobo yard (first road-opening)

Driving time: approx. 30 minutes from the airport

Location

Landhuis Chobolobo is located in the heart of Saliña, Willemstad. The mansion is easily accessible by car, public transport or taxi, and there is free parking available. The parking lot and the mansion are also disabled-friendly. 

Public Transport

On Curaçao, we have small buses (vans) and large buses (called Konvoi). We recommend using the Konvoi. They are operated by the ABC bus company and operate in most tourist areas. Check the nearest bus stop or ask at your front desk where the bus stop is located. Ask the bus driver to drop you off at the bus stop nearest to Landhuis Chobolobo. The mansion is just a short walk from the bus stop. You can also view the routes of the busses on the ABC bus company website.

Taxi

You can catch a taxi on the street of Curaçao, but it’s best to call them and order a taxi at a specific time. All the taxi drivers know Landhuis Chobolobo and Curaçao Liqueur Distillery. Make sure you discuss the price beforehand. It should be a price per kilometer. Ask your front desk for a taxi company or Google to find one. 

If you're doing a tour to several locations on Curaçao, ask the taxi driver to include a visit to Landhuis Chobolobo and the Curaçao Liqueur Distillery.
