Job Description: As a key member of our hospitality team, you will play a vital role in ensuring that every guest has a memorable experience. From greeting customers with a friendly demeanor to crafting delicious beverages, your passion for hospitality and attention to detail will shine through in every interaction. You will be responsible for ensuring our guests have a positive experience by providing excellent customer service, maintaining cleanliness and organization in our facilities, and assisting with various tasks as needed.
Responsibilities:
- Greet and welcome guests in a friendly and professional manner
- Assist guests with inquiries, requests, and concerns
- Take and fulfill orders accurately and efficiently
- Preparing and serving beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks.
- Managing the tasting table, including setting up and replenishing samples, engaging with customers, and providing information about our products.
- Maintaining cleanliness and organization of the cafe, including the sitting area, service counter, tasting area, storage room and kitchen.
- Set up and break down tables, chairs, and other equipment for events and functions
- Assist with inventory management and restocking supplies
- Follow company policies and procedures at all times
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operation during busy periods
- Handle cash and process payments accurately
- Upholding food safety and hygiene standards at all times.
Requirements:
- Prior experience in a hospitality or customer service role
- Excellent customer service skills
- Fluency in English, Dutch and Spanish is required
- Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining a positive attitude.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask
- Flexibility to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays if needed
